Everyon tells me i need to talk more and it happens so often its annoying me and im not shy at all. Im just a layed back mello guy. My gf, friends and eveb family mention it but im just being myself :/ Is it normal?... Am i normal???
Society values the extrovert. They get all the attention--they're often entertaining, fun to be around, etc...
But the truth is not everyone is capable of that. You may not be the center of attention as an introvert, but at least you're being yourself. If you don't feel it's necessary to speak, then don't.
My view is that it's better to speak only when you have something of value to say, rather than to chatter on meaninglessly simply for the sake of filling the silence.
I've always been quiet too! Everyone thinks it's odd because my family are the most chatty, outgoing people on earth. But I don't listen! Quieter people are usually the ones who are smarter and happier with who they are. Power to you!
Yes it's normal! Your IIN entry fits exactly how it is for me. People will tell me that I'm too quiet, EVEN MY ONLINE FRIENDS. And I'm not shy, it's just the way I am. I'm glad to see that there's people out there with the same situation.
People tell me this all the time and it drives me crazy. After 24 years I wish they would just accept that I'm just a quietly perceptive person who doesn't like to run my mouth like everyone else. Don't change who you are. Quietness is not a negative trait like people think it is.
I think it's normal. my dad has always been a quiet guy. and his father was too. he said throughout all his life ppl get uncomfortable around him bc he's not always blabbing. I say more power to you!
It is important to be yourself. Quiet or otherwise. If YOU are uncomfortable with being quiet, that's another thing altogether.
Those bastards need to stfu! Im quiet but theyre lucky i dont cuss em out cuz theyre so annoying.
