Is it normal to be a narcoleptic who is an insomniac

I too a sleep study and was diagnosed with sever narcolepsey. Yet I cannot sleep without sleeping aids. Weird or what?

    What is your sleeping aid? Mine for example is a vibrator. It can work pretty well :)

    yes it is common for narcoleptics to have insomnia also.

    Maybe if you can find what triggers your narcolepsy, you can at least resolve the insomnia.
