Is it normal to be a "little"?
I'm a 25 year old male who is into what's called "ageplay", which is a sort of a subtype of BDSM where a person dresses as and behaves as a younger kid (my little self is a 10 year old boy). It's completely non-sexual, and is entirely about getting into the state of mind - watching kids movies, having Nerf battles, climbing trees, and playing with other littles (as we're known). A lot of ageplayers actually prefer even younger ages, like babies and toddlers. I personally fall into a slim minority and prefer only to play with other 9-10 year old littles (age as in their little persona, not their actual biological age). It's all about innocent fun, but some people on the outside find it disturbing.
I think the usual "professional" reasoning behind it is that most littles had abusive or neglectful childhoods, and are trying to recapture what they missed. Admittedly that is the case with me and probably a lot of others, for me it just feels like the right way to be. I am who I am.
Anyway I thought I'd see what kind of thoughts people here have. Is it normal? Do you have any opinions on the practice?
