    To be honest, I don't pay much attention to labels and I barely know what a hipster is. From what I can see it's like a new version of a hippie. But seriously, labeling yourself as scene, hipster or whatever is lame. Just be you.

    Please don't. Have your own style and don't copy others. Besides why would you there becoming mainstream. The style is being raped by the media.

    People always call me hipster because i listen to alot or pretentious-sounding music genres( post rock, shoegazing, noiseambiance, etc). Be yourself, but remember: to really be a hipster you must be a musical bigot. Why would you want that though?
