Is it normal to be a female misogynist?

Even though I consider myself to be a feminist, sometimes I really hate being a woman. I want to be physically stronger yet women have inferior strength and if they try to improve themselves through weight lifting, they get told they have man armsor told muscles are ugly on women. Men seem so much more laid back and unjudgmmental and women seem to be emotional and get upset over silly things. Most of the time I would rather hang out with men. I think most female interests are plane silly chick flicks, gossiping, shopping are really boring to me. I am much more interested in computers, technology, wildlife, ATVS and the like, whereas women seem to be very prissy. I am not transgender because in many ways I act like a woman but I hate the way I act and how emotional I can get...most of the time I wish I was a man instead of a woman...does any other woman feel this way?

I think that it's very hard to find a chick with the interests that you have! Sound like a cool ass girl to hang out with to me!

Because you feel affiliations with one group, it doesn't mean you have to hate the other group (even if you're kind of part of it). They like what they like and you like what you like. It's a big old shrug. Just do what you like.

If you consider yourself feministic then why do you conform to standards such as the fact that women are emotional and mentally weak and guys are laid back and chilled? Why do you stereotype the interests and hobbies of men and women? I understand that not all feminists think alike but honestly, everything you've said is incredibly ant feministic to me.

I am a feminist because for the most part I DO think women are equal to men...but sometimes I see so much misogyny in the world and how acceptable it is I wonder if there is some truth to it...

I'm just like you. I even hate women's clothes and ive never worn make-up and would always rather hang out with guys . I like hot cars and motorcycles not Coach purses and manicures. ugh. It makes women mad, but who cares? They are just threatened by our coolness and the fact we don't have to do all the stupid crap they do to get men to like us.

I am not a female misogynist by any means but I do agree with what you said about girly, prissy women. I hate that. Don't get me wrong, I'm not butch or anything, I'm just more laidback than most girls tbh. I feel sorry for prissy girls in a way, their lives seem so dull, but whatever floats their boat I guess. Despite my dislike of most female's personalities, most of my friends are still girls, they are just like me and I enjoy being a female.

I feel the same way. In terms of physicality, women got the biological short end of the stick. I don't hate women though, I just sometimes hate being a woman (especially during menstruation).

  • I hate shopping unless it's for video games/books/music stuff, chick flicks (unless they are comedy filled and actually funny) and I'm not really that girly unless I have to be.

I do however love fruit-scented products and I can be girly when I want to be. But I wouldn't hate a group for not being what I would perceive to be more fitting or more valuable. Different strokes for different folks.
