Is it normal to be a female and not care about my scars?

I'm genuinely curious. I'm in the service, been involved in sports, and traveled extensively while doing labor-intesive activies. From all of my experiences, I have gotten scars (from smallpox shot as well), calluses, and an unnoticeable broken nose. But I'm not all hard edges- I'm involved in a college sorority as well.

Would men see this as a story of my life, or as damaged goods?

I'm proud of every imperfection and openly display them, but is it normal to be proud of these scars?

It's normal, of course. Scars signify battles won and sorta help you in some philosphical way. I actually have a friend who gets excited at the very image of scars!

i have a decent scar to the right of my chin from my first lot of plastic surgery aged 13. don't worry, it's not as extreme as it sounds, i had a mole there. i was bullied for that thing for years, so i got it removed. much prefer the scar, if i'm honest.
scars are a little reminder of silly things, and thats ok. everyone has them, therefore no one should be ashamed.

Normal. Each scar has a story behind them. Don't be ashamed, you've just been living your life. I have tons of scars on my body. They might not be incredibly noticeable, because most of them are small, but they still have a story behind them. If anyone asks, be loud and proud. You got a story to tell.

I have a 23 inch scar on my back, and I love to wear shirts that show it off :) So, you're not alone. Scars are not always flaws, but a permanent reminder of something endured :)

I haven't had reason to say the following for a while, and I'm always glad when the opportunity arises. What I want to say is:

    Good for you!

You know what? If you are proud of what these scars represent for yourself, then wear them proudly to find a man who believes in the same thing.

i have a scar on my forehead so its hard to hide but i dont go out of my way to show it off or anything. i think unless you got those scars from a bear fight or you were bitten by a shark, its nothing to really brag about.

I think that scars can be quite attractive on a woman erm, i have many scars myself (self inflicted) and am also proud of them. Having flawless beauty does not really attract me at all cos i'm into a persons inner beauty and not outta erm.You should wear your scars as a badge of honour (of what you've accomplished in your life)And ignore Hollywoodz interpretation of what beauty should be ;)xx
