Is it normal to be a 20 year old losing hair?

I'm 20 years old. I am a female. I have had hypo thyroid since I was in like third grade. I read on the Internet the disease can make u lose hair. I have had it all my life basically and never experienced hair loss like this. I just recently started getting eczema on my arms and stomach.. The doctors said it was a nickel allergy from my belt.. But my head started getting it and I don't wear no jewelry that contains nickel. So they gave me medicine said I have eczema. I wonder could that be why I'm losing hair if I may scratch it.. I havent been to the doctor since the hair loss I'm soon to go. Just been working alot. And I'm not under any drastic stress for hair loss.. I used to have thick and wavy hair now it's thin and little waves.. Any other ideas or remedies that can help me.. Drop a comment thanks.. :)

Im a woman as well and I just turned 25 a month ago. For the past few years i noticed my hair thinning in top (crown area). I dont feel like this is normal. I dont know what to do but my hair definitly never used to be this thin when i was 17-21 years old.
