I'm 19, almost 20, and I'm still a virgin. I've never had a boyfriend and I've never even been kissed.
Is this normal?
This really isent a question of normality, its all about personal choice. This changes from person to person so i dont think there really is a 'normal' when it comes to this topic.
It's reasonably normal to be a virgin at 20 but to not have a boyfriend or to have been kissed isn't.
If your especially shy or anxious around boys than it may be harder for you, just remember we aren't much different from you.
We still feel the same emotions, get nervous around girls, worry about out image and are considerate of others.
But it doesn't really matter if it's considered normal or not. Who cares? Be yourself and whatever happens happens... the end.
My opinion is that it may currently feel a bit shameful or awkward, but, when the time is right, you will have your first kiss and will eventually lose your virginity.
I was 25 when I lost my virginity (I am now 28). I was not kissed until I was 18, almost 19.
I think that some of us are just late bloomers, in terms of sexual experience,but it isn't necessarily a bad thing. I don't know about you, but I was painfully shy in high school, so this likely had an impact on the speed at which my sexual experiences progressed.
From about 21 to 25, I felt really awkward about still being a virgin; almost as though it was a burden. My friends (girls) made a big deal out of it when I told them and but I am so glad that I waited out for my current boyfriend to start having sex. When it comes down to it, my thought is that you just want to make sure that you are with someone you trust and feel comfortable with (whether or not you are in a committed relationship).
I think its normal Ive met alot girls your age still virgins but you should try dating if anything talk to guys more like just find a male friend even if its not someone your attracted to so that you kinda get used to the idea of talking to guys.
I'm 20 and still virgin too, had two girlfriends but both didn't last longer than a month each.
So it's normal, sure I wonder too why I don't have a girl yet, that's normal too.

Of course it's normal. It's normal until you find someone that you want to be that close to, and it doesn't matter how old you are. 19-20 is not that old at all. You're still a teenager practically..and teenagers should not be having sex! :p
