Is it normal to be 18 and never been on a date

I'm 18. never had a girlfriend, never had sex, never been kissed, never held hands. nothing. the closest thing I've ever had to a "date" was when I took a girl I like to homecoming last year as friends. I'm a handsome guy (or I just have really good self esteem, I'll let you be the judge) I've just never had the courage to ask girls that I know have been interested in me or I've been interested in them, out on a proper date.

Am I normal?

    I'm in the same situation with you the only difference is that I'm a girl.

      I think you and him should get together and let the magic happen.You guys must have some built up agression and you could take it out on each other. Why not exchange numbers?

    this world puts too much presure on guys..
    chill man ... wait no dont if u chilled later on while ur having sex with a girl and suck at it she will leave u for another man
    i dont care wat chicks say... its all about looks they dont care about anything but looks
    thats y u always see them staring in mirrors
    for guys its about looks too ... i guess

    Oh man, you are REALLY normal. True it is on the guys still in this day & age to take the risks and ask someone out. And no one ever talks about how painful that can be - the uncertainty of rejection, humiliation, bleah ...

    But I guess that's just the way it is. You kind of just have to suck it up, and take a calculated chance. And from what you say, the numbers look pretty good!

    And about these never haves. Well .. thats what makes taking the chance worth it. Girls do appreciate it. Because they are not allowed, generally, to actually walk up to a guy they are interested in and ask for a date.
