Is it normal to be 5'11" for a girl?

Sounds exactly like me. I'm 5'11" and a girl too, but I'm the shortest out of everyone. I hate when people bring it up that i tower over them :P

I'm five foot 11 1/2. I'm male though. I recommend referring to people who comment on how tall you are as debris.

Actually, your length is kind of what is normal where I come from. I'm 5,5 and i'm really short here.

i think its cool- and hot. used to love really tall girls in HS. and i'd bet there are plenty of guys in yours who feel the same way

be proud of your height. i wish i could be that tall. tall people have it made. they can reach things that most others cant, and they get a better view of everything. Also when you are taller your weight is more evenly distributed so you can have more fat and still look skinny. tall people also usually excel at sports. You are blessed!

lol I haven't grown much since 6th grade. I was 5'10" when it started.. I've only grown 1" since that.

I think its normal, people are getting taller. Maybe people notice tallness more in women because its just less expected.

It may be normal for your family, but unusual and rare, when u was looking for a tall girl to date! I think it us great that you are comfortable with your body and you should be, God made you perfect!

I'm actually 5'11 as well! I'm taller than almost everyone I know. I think it's normal, or at least it isn't "abnormal".

I've always had a soft spot for people who are at either end of the spectrum. Tall girls are usually languid, dreamy, and kind of sexy, whereas short girls are forces of nature that kind of inhabit you.

Walk proud and tall! Shoulders back. I'm 5'10" myself. Got all the jokes growing up. I still get them. Or the short people just want to remind me I am tall. I used to keep my mouth shut. Not any more. I tell them it must look that way from your short perspective. Idiot people. My daughter is 5'11". Normal for my family.

I'm 4'11 and I'm 21, so yeah, us females are usually supposed to be on the petite side of the spectrum anyway!

5 ft 11 is exceptionally tall for a girl, so just going on average height it is not normal. That does not mean it is odd or bad.
