Is it normal to assume

i just met a new guy... however over the past few yrs i have have some bad experiences with relationships... is it normal for me tto assume that this guy is like all the rest..

if 1-5 are all the same, is it normal to assume that # 6 is like 1-5 or do i need to chill out and trust him..

Your assumption is normal but that doesn't make it logical. Humans are individual as well as dynamic. If you assume that this guy is a waste of time, them you may as well assume that every male on the planet also fits this description. Why don't you get to know the guy so that you can naturally develop trust for him? Take it slowly and see what happens. No two people are alike and you are possibly missing out on a good thing if you start drawing conclusions about this guy based on past experiences with other guys.

Not all guys are the same. True, there are tons of jerks out there... but nice oens do exist. Some of them are straight too!

trust should be earned is what I say-- don't assume- judge by actions, not words, wait and see-- truth reveals itself in time
