Is it normal to assault someone and run away like a b***h?

The weirdest thing happened to me today. I know it's not normal but I like sharing the weird things that happen to me.

I was walking out of my local store with a couple beers I had just bought when a guy offered me $5 for one of the beers. I said ok and we exchanged the beer and money.
He then asked me for $15 change saying that he gave me a $20. I said no, you gave me a 5 and he demanded the 5 back which I refused.
Then he punched me in the face. I was ready to kick his ass but as soon as he hit me he started running off like a pussy and I ran after him but he got away. My Samoan buddies from the bar were outside and saw it happened and started running for him too. He probably pissed his pants.
I was more mad that he ran off than the fact that he hit me.

Anyway I thought it was very strange behavior. I have never witnessed anyone hit someone and run away like that. If your going to hit someone you should stay and fight.

    Unfortunately, this is normal. I've seen many people start fights and then run away the second the other person fights back. People are such cowards these days.

    I hate when things like this happen. It's far more irritating when the town "tough guys/fuck da police" people start crap and then find out they made a mistake, then go call the cops for shit they started.

    Ugh. These people just need to be wiped out.

    see this is exactly why i always carry a slice of cheese in my pocket. I would of said "ok heres your 5 back" then gave him the cheese then as he looks at in confusion id kick him or her square in the balls then run away like a real thug.

    Usually, in the situations I am in, the person threatens me.
    Once they threaten violence against me, I start instinctively acting like a fucking chihuahua. I can't help it. I'll start shouting "GO AHEAD AND FUCKIN HIT ME, DO IT, FUCKIN DO IT" and they back off and leave.

    I have never had someone actually hit me and leave although I did once hit someone who threatened me and followed them because they were trying to run away lol.

    I've experienced these in the form of verbal/text arguments (I have yet to get involved in a fight). A person claims something, adds insults, and will never respond to a counter-argument that nullifies theirs. Very annoying, but that's how some people function in such a situation.
