Is it normal to ask a girl out that i barely know.

So I want to ask this girl, who is new to our school and an exchange student from norway, to homecoming. I have only talked to her a few times, 5 times to be exact, but she usually seems interested and very friendly. Would it be normal to ask her to homecoming? I would also like to mention I am quite shy and it has been difficult for me to go out of my way to talk to her and i feel accomplished in doing so. Is that normal?

    i was the first person that alked to Jeef, my high shool exchange studnet from thailand. and some mutual friends decided for me that i should take her. i didnt mind too much casue i was single and she was like a model. lucky me hahaha xd.

    well as things worked out we got there early and where sitting alone, i figured the we might dance a bit, but it be like i was babysitting her till our friend came right? well as we sat there she leaned in and kissed my cheek just out of the blue. I almost fell out of my chair in suprise, but i asked her "uhm what do u think u are doir, u cant just kiss a guy out of nowhere like that, u gatta warn me first, oky?". "Oky". "well here try it again then" xD and well she leaned it the 2nd time i turned my head so we kissed lips.

    HAHAHAHAH, it was soo fucking cute. after that we were like joined at the hip. or well maybe that be more literal discription since we grinded that dance floor like nobodies business.

    i still talk to her on FB and i think we are still good friend for ppl that live on opposite side of the world, so i say...

    So a say ask, u really got nothing to lose.

    Its normal for a person to ask out another person. For what i can tell, she seems interested in you as she accepted your invite. Good on you for making the first move :)

    My friend got asked out by someone she barely knew in our year, I didn't have a clue who he was, and they seem perfectly happy. Good luck!

    I wish I had your courage, I have talked to girls many of times that I want to ask out but still don't have the nerve to ask.
