Is it normal to always have a late period when u have sex?

That's the q guys, do any of u always get your period late if you have intercourse with your partner each and every time or am I alone in this? Should I consult a doctor abt this? I'm always 5-11 days late and it can b quite a scare since I do not want to become pregnant at this time. Y do u think I'm always late? I am irregular but not as much so unless I'm having intercourse with my partner

    The timing of your period depends on many factors: Hormones, diet, stress and genetics are just a few.

    Now, I am *hoping* that you are using some form of birth control. It is normal for your period to fluctuate and be late or early depending on the events in your life.

    I think that I can safely assume that you are not on a form of hormonal birth control (as your periods are not being regulated) and if you are interested in getting on some birth control, I would strongly suggest that if you live in the United States, you visit this website <a href="http://plannedparenthood.org" rel="nofollow">plannedparenthood.org</a>

    This site will provide you with a tool to look up the location of a PP center near you. There, you can get cheap or free access to birth control, examinations, the Plan B pill, pregnancy tests, condoms and if worse comes to worse, abortion and adoption services. I would urge you to consider at least giving them a call. It is free and the nurses there are very knowledgeable. I am on the Nuvaring and have been for 5 years and my periods are very well regulated and I have never been pregnant. I hope you consider it ;)

    This happens to me occasionally, my period would be a day late then I'd stress that I was pregnant then it would be a week late or whatever.
    Try some form of birth control though, condoms are great but the pill will regulate everything. (or the rod or the injection, I've tried them all)

    Omg!! I have this too and it fuckin scares me everytime!! I've been needing an answer but I'm soo scares to talk about it with anyone!! Me and my boyfriend talk about it and one month it was like the begginig of the month when we did it and at the very end of the month I started!!!

    You just have a irregular period, or you could be pregnant. You should probably see a DR. If you aren't on birthcontrol right now you could get put on it as it helps to make your periods more regular and since you are having sex at the moment and you don't want a baby, it would probably be a good idea anyways. Mine is only $25 a month and it helped me to be more regular.

    Mine runs like clockwork. I'm rarely late and it always lasts the same amount of time; what seems like forever. Sex or diet don't affect it for me, but it's not unusual for it to affect an already unstable period, I'd think. I'm only a master of mine so I'm not too sure.

    No! it's normal it happens to me too, it might also come late because it stresses you out about whether you can possibly be pregnant.
