Is it normal to always draw/paint faces and eyes in all of my pieces?
I've been making art for almost 2 years and there's always been a consistent motif in my work. I love faces for some reason, but want to try something different. It's strange though, because I always end up putting a face or an eyeball or lips into a piece. What's even weirder is that I see faces pretty much everywhere all the time. It's mostly when I look at puddles of water, trees, gravel, persian rugs and the like. It started after I began taking LSD twice a week for a few months back in 2010. Is it okay to be obsessed with a certain object or idea to the point where you feel uncomfortable when there isn't one in your piece? Also, could the LSD have done something to the way I harness my creativity? I'm 23 by the way for anyone who wants to know.
Here's a link to my art so you can see what I mean.
