Is it normal to always be tired?

Well I am always tired. No matter how much I sleep, when I go to bed or when I wake up. I am just always sleepy...I drink coffee over the day and it doesnt seem to help.

I am 19, and this has been going on for a few years now, so strongly. It gradually gotten worse as time went by, since I was around 15.

I tried various diets, giving up coffee as I heard too much weakens your adrenal glands and you end up exhausted all the time. I tried giving up sweets, increasing sugar, etc. But nothing seems to work.

It's not stress related, I can tell you that too.

I can't remember the last time I woke up refreshed and full of energy. Is this a normal period of life or something? I heard puberty can do this, but I'm 19 and I've gotten into puberty earlier than most of my friends...

What do?

    Not normal.

This is a typical symptom of depression and many various vitamin deficiencies or a hypoactive thyroid. I'd suggest that, if you have health insurance, you go get your blood tested and tell them what's up before looking into psychological treatment. If you don't have insurance, take multivitamins, drink more water and if you are female you may be at a greater risk of anemia so be sure you are taking iron and fiber to keep regular. Regardless of insurance though, I would still recommend you look into medical treatment.

You should try Advocare sparks. They are a type of energy drink the is actually good for you and taste good too. They are working for me. I am usually a tired person period. I am in my 30's and and when I have my spark for morning instead of coffee I feel like a 18 year old ready to tackle the world. There are other products to like sleep aid products and muscle gain products if your looking to bulk up. Exercise usually also helps me not at first but after awhile you will be more energetic. It's just getting up to actually do it that is hard for me and that is when I have to have a spark before I do. No smoking either. Totally wears ya down. And if you do have sleep apnea then you should go to the docs and find out if advocare is right for you. I hear that sleep apnea is due to being overweight even if it is a little bit over weight. Take spark and some diet control pills called MNS pills to help you loose that extra few pounds and you should be good to go. Good luck but I will swear by Advocare. Doesn't hurt to try and eliminate it off a checklist of stuff that doesn't work if it fails you. But make sure you read the instructions to ensure you are doing you absolute best on finding out what works for you.

That's probably your answer then, your heart is having to work harder to support your body's life functions, so it makes sense that it would not properly support your body.

Can I take it out, wash it and put back :O

Is there a fast way to fix this? All the solutions I've encountered so far included a diet plan, and a long one infact...

No, unfortunately, as far as I know, there is no fast way to fix it, I would also recommend that if your doctor recommended that you take pills for it, take the pills.

  • I have this problem too. Last year I was diagnosed with sleep apena. I use a CPAP machine now. Its uncomfortable and doesn't help much. Ive suspected I may have narcolepsy as well. My advise is to take a sleep study.

Is there at any point of the day where you feel awake?

I don't really think so. I mean I do feel awake, as in: aware that I'm awake, it's day, i should get stuff done, etc.

But I still feel tired and like I'd rather lay down and relax or sleep
