My husband and I have been together for going on 9 years we have known each other for 14. We have one of the best marriages I have seen in every aspect besides sex. His penis causes me physical pain almost every time we have intercourse I am built tiny and he's definitely not. To top it all off I absolutely hate to give oral, which I understand is not fair to him but it is what it is. I have recently permitted him to have one or two girlfriends on the side for sexual purposes only.     If it's a mutual agreement and you're both ok with it then I think it's an ok solution and it's not uncommon. I tried this with my ex-wife and gave her permission to seek sexual pleasure elsewhere and the only thing I asked in return is that she not keep it a secret from me. I didn't mind her going and looking elsewhere since I'm not well endowed by any means(it's about 4inches) and I wanted her to be sexually happy since she really enjoyed sex and wanted it constantly(which I also could not keep up with).

    It ended up being weird because she swore everything was fine and she didn't want to be with anyone else...and then two days later asked if I wanted to be with someone else or if I wanted to have sex with other people and basically tore me apart everyday for a week saying I just wanted an open marriage to go out and fuck other people.

    Flash forward a few months and I find out she's been sleeping around and ignored the one thing I had asked which was to not keep it a secret from me and just let me know so I could make sure she was safe, that sort of thing. It ended up causing a few problems with our marriage to say the least and while it wasn't because of that we did get divorced.

    I think as long as you keep it civil and are open and honest about it you can be the loving wife and he can have the girlfriends on the side and everything can work out quite well, I know there are people that do it and it's not necessarily common but it's not so weird as to be impossible to find.
