Is it normal to actually love your enemies

I don´t mean for religious reasons, or whatever. More like ¨foe yay¨ and if you don´t know what that means look it up. I love it. I feel a stronger connection to my enemies than my friends. I know, keep your friends close but your enemies closer, and all that. But I actually get obsessed with my enemies and trying to ¨figure them out¨ and make them like me. It actually makes me happy when they talk to me, even though they are being mean. And yes I am a bit of a masochist. IIN?

I know what you mean. Not anymore since I'm calm and quiet, but when I used to get into arguments with people all the time I'd...usually have some sort of crush or infatuation for them. While arguing with them I'd flirt and they'd be confused and say "shut the fuck up" :D

It was weird, but you sound adorable so as long as you're not...well, being a dick and INTENTIONALLY looking to start fights, that's fine.

If there is enough reason to consider someone an "enemy", then they are a danger to you. If they are a danger to you, then that danger should be eradicated before they can harm you.
Sorry, I'm not getting all buddy, buddy with an enemy; quite the opposite. Perhaps you just do not grasp the concept of the word "enemy".

Trying to think of actual enemies...... Oh! There's an asshole cat across the road, it stares in at me through the living room window, watching, waiting, judging, licking itself while maintaining eye contact, it's hissed at me several times, I hate that fucker, but I feel we have a mutual, muted respect.

  • Well, I think it's a good thing to give aggressors a fair chance - to reach out to them with kindness in an effort to make them feel shame at how they treated you.

Obviously though, that very well may not work as there are some who are apparently unable to feel shame. If that's the case, throw them to the wolves.
