Define "acting retarded"?
Do you actually yell and scream and throw things around the way a real retard acts?
If so I have to say, thats pretty cool.

It's about a group of people who act like they are mentally disabled to break from their inhibitions. They do it in public though.
Also, thanks for being one of the few who can actually spell retarded. "Retarted" makes me cringe :/
I'm not sure what you mean by "acting retarded." What does that imply? If you're making fun of mentally handicapped people, then no, it is not normal. But honestly, I have no idea what you're trying to tell us.
I do... Aha I start talking to my lamp & making weird faces at myself in the mirror. I think it's completely normal :)
So im gessing that the whole acting retarted thing is like standing weird and making weird faces jumping around throwing poop and stuff. which sounds like it could be a lot of fun. Idk if its normal but I think i might start doing that now, might blow off a lot of steam.
I rekon HEAPS of people do this...myself included. People are really scary behind closed doors i know that much.
You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Making fun of someone because of their physical or mental limitations is so frustrating to me. My sister is developmentally handicapped, (BTW that is the PC term) and my family and I have put up with insensitive, inappropriate morons like yourselves for years. She is the sweetest, most loving most innocent person on this earth and none of you would deserve the love and affection she would so freely give all of you.
The next time you want to "act retarded" whatever that entails, please consider this... What if you had a child, sibling, or relative that was developmentally handicapped would you be doing it, and god forbid what if they saw you do it?
Perhaps the OP finds it liberating to act in an uncontrolled, bizarre way that wouldn't be socially acceptable? Acting like you are "developmentally handicapped" "when nobody is around" isn't going to offend anyone - there's no audience. If you can look passed your own personal experience of disabled people you might see how someone emulating a disabled person in private could feel some kind of psychological relief. It could almost be therapeutic to some.
But of course the story is one sentence long so what he means by acting "retarded" is anybody's guess, you may be right. I'm just offering an alternative view :)
Nope i only act like that when someone is around it spoils the fun to do it when alone:P
