I find it kinda creepy when people are crazy religious. like i belive in god and every thing but some people freak out if you do something that contradicts the teachings of the bible.also alot of crazy ppl say that "god" told the to kill a certain person like the crazy person always seen to be super religious .
Many of these religous "enthusiasts" who believe fundamental truth in their respective scriptures, claim often to be (somewhat paradoxically) capable of "propehcy" which somewhat contradicts their belief in all things scriptual. They usually have one significant trait in common; mental illness of varying severities often undiagnosed but painfully obvious to all but themselves.
Just ignore them, they usually do that to generalize people. I do think that Bible is writ a bit too much, especially when they don't have scientific evidence to back up their story.
Yeah, that's normal. Overly religious people who think everyone should believe exactly the same things they believe ARE creepy, and dangerous too if they seriously try to do everything exactly the way it says to in the Bible.
I, too, am unnerved by overly religious people. If they are religious, that's fine, but just keep it away from me. Some of those people even seem a little dysfunctional, like David Koresh.

A lot of religious fanatics are more aptly described as "fanatics" than "religious." They are simply using religion as a basis for their inherent fanaticism and egotism. A pious person who goes quietly on Sunday to church to worship is not going to give you a guilt trip and is not going to lecture you about anything; that's not what religion is about. It's more of a personal thing to them; they're not thinking about you and your beliefs. They're just living their lives and believing what they believe (which includes loving their neighbors and respecting them) so they probably aren't thinking anything in particular about you at all.
Christians frighten me... Fanatical Christians terrifiy me, beliving the world was created purly for humans and mainly for those who belive Jesus is the saviour have major issues. Having a moral basis formed from a 2000 year old book and fine tuned by old white men dosent give my any comfort either. At least they stoped killing non-belivers.. For now
Ya me too. I said oh my god one time in front of my highly Christian friend and she said "you shouldn't use gods name like that" we were only 4-5 maybe?
I saw this title and busted out laughing, I was a Christian. Now that I'm an atheist I realize just how "creepy" I and other religious people look like to non-religious !
Normal. I'm a Christian and crazy about God, but people who "bible-thump" or say God told them to kill someone is ridiculous. They could be crazy or just too religious. All you need is a relationship with God, not some list of morals and rules to follow.
yes! some even tell me that they have some sort of visions from god sent to them randomly.... and the priest made his legs longer or some shit like that. it scares me....
yes they are creepy, as much as I think that some people need faith in something, I can't stand those religious crazies. I have no religion myself so I really can't say to much on it.
