Is it normal the thumbs up feature makes me mad. But only if my comments are thumbed up, I thumb up others like crazy. Is it normal?

    It would be nice if there were no thumbs. I am not upset however, thumbs aren't so bad.

    i feel ignored when i dont get any thumbs in either direction especially when i pour my heart and soul into a comment and write a big long novel at least when i get thumbs down that means someone read it you know what im saying

    Mine are getting thumbed down like none other. I happen to like the thumbs feature though and its a way if saying whoa, I like what that person wrote. I don't see your beef with it.

    Lol i noticed someone doing this. Like every single comment will have at least a +2 for no reason on some stories. That kind of annoys me more, though. *gets thumbs down for this*

      I think it's not exactly for no reason. It's probably the OP agreeing or thanking/acknowledging the commenter subtly. I do that when I don't comment back on my own stories :)

    I like a thumb count of zero. Sort of suggests you can stick your thumb up into something that has the same shape as a zero.
