Is it normal think about death

I have been thinking about death for the past few days and i don't know why, but it won't leave my head and I have been crying for no reason about it. Last night I tried going to sleep but I couldn't because it won't leave out of my head and I just burst out crying. I feel weird then few days ago I felt completely fine but I don't know why I'm feeling this way. My head has been hurting for the past few days.

It could be death anxiety or something like an existential crisis.
Humans naturally fear the unknown, especially what could happen to hem after death. It’s completely normal.

I think about it multiple times a day. What are you thinking, that you will die naturally, kill yourself, be murdered?

I just think of ending my life, it's called intrusive thought I'm told.

I acknowledge it and move on.

If you can't stop thinking about it you need to make a list of positive thoughts to switch your brain to and if necessary, say them out loud. If you do this often enough you'll change what your brain focusses on

  • Normal, especially if you haven't decided what to believe (or not believe) in. I think everyone has a few existential crises in their lifetime.
