Is it normal they are upset i got work?

Ok well I have had one or two jobs but they are usually temporary and do not last very long and I have had a few issues with places to stay. The person I am staying with now has been helping me but does not have all that much to spend either.

I got a interview today and they did not seem to want me to go and when I got back and confirmed what the job was they got upset with me. They keep telling me they hate that line of work and do not want me to do it. The job is selling and nothing bad like beer or hookers.

Stuff along lines of houses and things of that manner. I can not figure out why they are getting so angry over it. I mean it is work so why is it bad?

The person I with says they are moving soon so I have find a new place anyways so I do not get what the problem is.

They know something they do not want to say 15

    Jealousy-pure and simple.No reason behind it,there does'nt have to be.

      They have work so I do not see how that makes any sense.

        Is this job based off of commission? Maybe they want you to have a guaranteed pay rate?

          It is not based off commission. You get paid no matter what I do think I put that inside the post.

            I only see that you are selling; things along the lines of houses. We any how, your roommate may be envious that you are successful in finding new work that pays and that you will be independent.
