Is it normal the way i think about my teacher?

I am 18 and just graduated from high school in 2011. I think about one of my teachers a lot. He is really hot. I constantly follow him online and I have started a scrapbook about him. I have printed over 50+ pictures of him and I have them hidden under my bed. My computer is loaded with pictures of him and information about him. I found out where he lives and now I check out his apartment all the time. I even have other guys pretend to be him. I plan to start following him home after school gets out. I like to imagine us together. After all he is only 9 years older than me. And he's really hot. I have numerous naughty thoughts about me and him. Is this normal behavior and thinking?

Just tell him how you feel! Just don't mention the stalking part...

I'd love to but I get so nervous around him. My face turns colors and I'm unable to talk.

"Misery", (1987) Novel by Stephen King.

"Misery", (1990) Film directed by Rob Reiner, based on the Stephen King novel.

Go ahead and watch or read. Don't let it become your future.

You sound like you're obsessed with him. Why don't you tell him your feelings? But don't scare him in the process! If you date him, maybe you shouldn't let him know that you're stalking him. He might get scared and call the police, before he could really get to know you better. I'm sure you're a sweet girl, but you must take it down a notch. Okay?

I know I probably should but I have OCD so its hard at times. I get so nervous around him that i can talk so im not sure I'd actually be able to talk to him. I would like to though

I see where you're coming from with this.

There have been times when I've become infatuated with someone and seemingly obsessive. I'd always have a hard time properly expressing myself so, I'd always be misinterpreted with my feelings. I have accidentally scared people I "cared for", because of this:(

Just try to relax yourself and explain your feelings. You're of age so, he probably wouldn't get in trouble for dating his ex-student.

No I'm 18 so it's not that I'm too young. It's just i'm not at all cute so I don't think he would even be interested in me. I was to nervous at school to talk to him much so it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't remember me.

Why do you think that's hot? I've had other guys tell me that too and I'm just wondering why.

        Cause of the "naughty" aspect.

When I read this story, I involuntarily imagined myself as the teacher (putting oneself in the shoes of another is just reflex--it helps us understand the situation better). You can see where that's headed.

Plus, I think the mind has a tendency to picture an "average" or "normal" prototypical image of something when it doesn't have the real thing to look at. For example, when you see someone with large sunglasses on before you see them without those sunglasses on, you tend to automatically imagine the "missing" components of their face as "average" or "normal." Because this prototypical, "average," or "normal" human is actually in fact attractive, we tend to overestimate the person's actual looks. If you still don't get it, just take a few seconds to imagine a guy (or girl) your age. Now do you get it?

For people (like me) who don't already know what you look like, that effect only makes this sort of, "fantasy," more alluring.

Well 9 years isn't a huge age difference, but having a serious obsession is never healthy. Do you even know if he's single? If he has a gf or a wife, you know this crush won't go anywhere, right? I'm sure your obsession will wane and you'll find someone else one day.

Believe it or not but the fact that you find him so hot can mean there is chemistry there...

Not to sound to super nerdy here, but I saw an anime like this, and that chick was kindof a freak. Might want to either confess or move on, you don't want this to ruin your life. He's single, he would probably be psyched to have a young girls that's into him

Yeah IDK if he would be psyched by it or just think I'm really creepy. I was told he had a girlfriend but by the way he talked on facebook on valentines day it really doesn't sound like it. I really wish I could call him mine.

If he has a girlfriend than that basically puts you out of the picture entirely, sorry to say. My advice, so your best not to think about him. Treat it like a break up. Drop as much contact as possible with him and get over the guy, you'd be suprised how small things can really grow into something borderlining crazy

I think it's already passed the line of crazy. The cops got involved and he was contacted. I'm not in any trouble but he is a little freaked out and scared now though.

If you can't say it to him directly, get his email or cell number? text or email him.... that's what I'd do..
