My mom gets $600 in food stamps & does not shop for food
She sells it for real money & goes to visit her boyfriend in jail
i always been skinny due to my mom not cooking or feeding her kids
But now I'm really skinny & now I'm starting to hate my mom
I have to wait about 10 hours to eat something or before she decides cook something
Some people are so stupid. OP, I believe you because I've gone through a similar thing (abusive dad, on food stamps, couldn't afford food etc.) and it's hard, but you have to tell someone.
To anyone who says 'sell your computer', 'get a job', etc. that's just a bad idea. And they might not be old enough/have the qualifications/live in an area that allows them to get a job.
And...some people put most of their money into computer access and such. My mom was broke at one point and still used most of the money for internet, cable, etc. it's probably not fake.

I think you should definitely talk to someone about this (other than us internet people ). I know it is a tough situation because I am sure you don't want your mother to get into trouble but I think that in the long term, that is the best thing you can do. You could also get a part time job to earn some money and purchase some food. I know that it shouldn't be up to you provide food for yourself but at least that could help the problem in the short term until you find a more permanent solution. I'm not sure how old you are but if you are old enough, maybe you could get a job in a restaurant or some sort of food place? You could get free food or at least a discount. Someone needs to report her to child protective services. No one should have to live like that I feel so sad for you. Do you have any family members you can live with? I really think you need to find a way out of that situation. She needs help also.

I don't really think your mom is a good person given what you've described. Do you have no other relatives who could look after you?

To be honest if you're not an adult she's actually neglecting you and you should someone.
You should turn your mom in to the authorities. If you can't bring yourself to do that, you should learn how to cook. It isn't hard to bake a potato, carrots or even an onion. Dumpster dive at a grocery store and if they stop you, tell them the truth. How hard is it to simmer water and throw things in? This is caveman technology.

can no-one tell that this story is fake?? like an earlier comment, how are they able to get on the internet if they cant afford food or if their mother doesnt supply her kids with food but supplies them with a computer and the internet? its just a stupid kid with nothing better to do and is just trying to get some attention because obviously their parents wont put up with their petty crap anymore. time for this kid to harden the f**k up and grow the f**k up. i apologise if i offended anyone but neglecting kids is not something to joke around about and if this kid is trying to get their parents in trouble because they didnt get their own way then this kid should be taken "out back" and given a stern "talking to" and i will quite happily volunteer to do that.
Feeding your kids is kind of a no-brainer when it comes to motherhood. She shouldn't be using the food stamps to see her boyfriend, who is in jail, who HAS food, and who obviously isn't the finst dog at the dog show, when she has children she needs to feed. This IS neglect, and you should tell someone about it.
And If your old enough to get a job you might want to try to put in a few applications. That way, if your mom's not feeding you you may have a little cash in your pocket to try to feed yourself. Like a back up bank. If that sounded rude( cause I'm reading it back to myself here and for some reason it does)It really was meant as friendly advice.

The only way out of this is 2 options:
1) turn to porn, turn some tricks and buy some food.

I used to be in the same boat, but sit down with her and have a serious conversation about the way she treats you. When I did my mom couldn't get the mental picture out of her head of her being alone when she's old. So she stopped. I had to say some mean things but they needed to be said for her to understand what she was doing. She may have that jailbird now, but what happens when he gets out and has a fresh pick of the ladies. Always remember that blood is thicker than water

If this is true, be prepared to live in a fostercare home. Your post has been reported, and your profile is being tracked. Child abuse is not a game. This is serious business. Your mother has committed fraud, she will go to jail. You and your siblings will be separated and turned over to your state. Until you turn 18, you will live with strangers. OP, you need to report your mom to your state's office of family support for welfare fraud. In that report, be sure to mention that you and your siblings (if you've got any) aren't being fed due to your mother's misuse of her gov't assistance. Sounds like you live a shitty life, thanks to your disgusting mother. Seriously, find a relative with whom you can live.
