Me and my boyfriend have ben going out for 9 months now and he's always getting mad at me for little things like not being hungry, not wanting to have sex, and even being tired. He also Get's really jealous and angry when I talk to guys, even though I don't flirt. Is this normal?
Ew...run...run as fast as you can. Been there, done that. Those guys have no self-esteem and normally get more angry as time passes. You could loose every good friend you have now since it will become more than just guys he doesn't want you around, it can become girl friends and/or family. Be a smart girl and get out before you regret continuing this relationship. I'm not explaining this to you to scare you, but just take it as a warning...chick-to-chick. Best of luck!!
Get out while you can! You see on the news where some crazy guy has killed his girlfriend/wife? That's the kind of behavior that leads up to something like that. You are not his puppet or posession, run and do it now!
Sadly, it's probably not that rare - but he does sound very controlling. The situation may erode your self-esteem, and is likely to make you unhappy over time. It may be worth discussing his behaviour with him; jealousy can be cured by reassurance in some cases. However, if he gets angry with you for not being hungry/wanting to have sex, he may be a bit of a lost cause, and you may want to leave him!
Um I've been in that situation before and it ain't good at all, he'll just get worse as time goes by.
It took me over 1 month to dump that stupid ass of a bf coz he got mad and jealous at me like at least once a week for little things too.
Guys like that are just not worth it.
more "common" than I'd like to see happening, not normal in any sense. Get rid of him before he knocks you up so he thinks he "has you on lock", shatter that fragile ego of his ASAP.
Jealousy is a normal emotion. Doesn't mean you need to put up with it. Tell him how you feel. If he's uncompromising then you might have to consider looking elsewhere.
It's common for some guys to behave like your boyfriend but it's not normal behaviour. I dated a guy just like the guy you're dating and the jealousy was never the main issue. It was the fact that he thought he had a right to be angry at me for not behaving how he wanted me to. The fact that you're even going out with this guy in the first place probably means that you're a very passive person who doesn't like confrontations or "being mean" but you gotta ditch this guy now because things aren't going to get better from here. RUN AWAY FAST.
My fiance is a jealous type sometimes, but over somewhat normal stuff...like when I would hang out with my guy friends alone before he knew them. He doesnt have any girl friends, so we talked & he met them, now hes ok. So I see the guy part, (thats just insecurity & fear) but as far as eating & sleeping...huh? lol. Thats just strange, & I agree he'll prob get worse over time if its over little things like that.
i don't think so. he'll only get worse as time goes by. who would want to be with someone like him? you can do better.
I didn't realize my bf was EASILY jealous and insecure but he is..I love him to death but I had to find out the hard way that he is jealous and he recently told me he is just because he thinks "I'm hot" but that doesnt mean anything. I dont like that he is jealous of nothing. I dont even go anywhere lol and he is always with me most of the time..so I dont why some bf's are..But I make shit up sometime as if someone touched my butt when I was at the store and he gets mad..its so cute lol
