Is it normal that you feel that a guy wants you?

Hi there, well this is my story about a guy who I know since last year, well actually a barely know him. Last year I came to USA and I didn't know how to speak english at all and I met him because he was in one of my classes, one day he walked towards me and told me "hola" but I couldn't answer him because my "friend" which is a girl which was in love with me Told him get out of him, he never gonna be your friend and I was like omg this girl is crazy. Well the year was passing out and sometimes I just felt that he in some way was starting at me and once he wanted to give me something (for joking) and I said "there's no way that I'll take that" and he just grined at me. This year he is in two of my classes and in one of them he sits behind me and in the another one class he sits in other table next to me is like between us there is like a little hallway which separates the tables. A couple of times last week when I gave to him some handouts his fingers were over mine like if he brushes my fingers and that happened like 4 times and then another day I catch him looking at me and then another day we were in front of the classroom of the second class that I have with him and there wasn't no one and he grined at me and asked me something really obvious "there's someone in there?" When he already has had seen into the classroom but idk what happens that somedays he just sunddely ignore me :s I wish you can help me I really like him :) please tell me if this is normal or not :) thanks oh and by the way when I need his help he helps me and I feel like he treats me different than with everybody. (I'm a boy)
