Is it normal that yelling scares me?
When people yell in anger or frustration, it scares me very badly, even when they're not yelling at me. I get scared that they'll hurt me. Is it normal that when people yell, it makes me want to cry and hide?

Me too. And long time afterwards I'm still nervous about talking to them. Even though they have calmed down meanwhile.
I hate it when people raise their voices too, because it reminds me of my father, who would lose his temper with me all the time over nothing.
well it pisses me off if there bitching something about me i then would get mad about that an then we start fighting its how it always go's.
I've been told I start to smile while i'm yelling, but I love, love, love confrontation. I love seeing others involved in it, and love being involved in it.
I never did to well with yelling either, but it gets better, eventually you just get irritated and ignore it.
