I grew up thinking that women were more shy or less likely to consent to sex than men if put in a similar situation, however as i have aged i have found women to be eager for cock.

I don't think there is anything bad about that - sex is pleasurable and being promiscuous shouldn't be frowned upon.
However, being horny and being promiscuous are two different things. A woman can be promiscuous even if she is totally frigid- just because she can be manipulated into it very easily. Another women can be horny and eager for cock which leads to having sex several times a day with her boyfriend - which means she may not be promiscuous at all. Therefore it's quite misleading to think that if a woman is promiscuous, she is eager for cock. On the other hand it can't be automatically assumed that if a woman doesn't sleep around, she is not eager for cock - she may be eager for her boyfriend's cock at that time, have it several times a day and not be willing to have sex with other people.
