Whenever I have any powerful dreams, I have telekinetic abilities and I can fly around at will. I also become aware that I am dreaming and can explore, but too much of that leaves me feeling sick when I awaken. Anyone else?
I dream about that almost every night and even if i realize i am dreaming i am absolutely convinced that when i wake up i will still be able to do it and that it is a natural human ability that all humans can learn.consequently i am very disappointed when i do wake up and realize i can't.
The problem I have had with dreaming that includes flying and telekinesis, is that the Sympathetic and ParaSympathetic nervous systems are responsible for things like 'fight or flight' and sleeping, and they are mutually exclusive, and sometimes when the dream is particularly active, ie a great deal of flying, the two systems begin competing. Thats never a good thing, as one system will put you to sleep and prevent you from sleepwalking by releasing a hormone that stops outgoing nerve impulses at the base of the brain before they get the chance to manifest themselves in the form of physical activity, while the other will release adrenaline if you become threatened. Do you know what happens to a person when they get high doses of the hormone and adrenaline at the same time? YOU CAN HAVE A SEIZURE!
