Is it normal that when i talk, i sound like mr bean?

I am a girl, who has been diagnosed with Asperger's, although I don't believe I have it since I have grown up a lot since then. The only thing that gets me down is my voice. I can't hear my voice the way other people do. To me, the way I speak sounds normal to me. But if I hear myself recorded, I don't pronounce words normally for some reason and I sound like Mr Bean(even though I don't hear it this way when I'm actually talking) and most people don't understand me when I talk and I have to repeat myself about 3 times. It's so infuriating. I've been told I mumble, and I have an weird "accent". But to me, I speak normally. Even when I talk louder, recorded it still sounds like that :( It makes me so insecure. Also, I do speak softly and quietly but I don't hardly even bother talking to people anymore because when I speak up, someone usually just ignores me and then I feel like an idiot.

Maybe it's normal for someone with Aspergers to talk like that: if it's a problem (sounds like it could be) can you access speech therapy?

Everyone thinks they sound weird on recordings. But if it really bothers you, you can change it with practice. Use a mic and recorder to listen back, and you'll learn to sound the way you want.

Practice reading out loud. I LOVE reading out loud, it helps my voice quality.

I don't thinks so, dear, but it really isn't a problem IMO and if you can't change it why worry about it

I sound normal to myself but when i hear myself recorded it sounds like i have a different accent. Also when i tell people where im from they always say i dont sound like im from there. I dont have adpergers but i was tested for all that sort of thing as a kid and i was eventually diagnose with adhd.
