Is it normal that when i stand with my feet together, my knees touch?

In all of the thinspo I look at, the girls have a gap between not only their thighs, but their knees as well, it's a continuous gap down between their whole legs. My thighs are about an inch apart when I stand with my feet together but my knees touch. Is it normal or is it cause I'm fat?

It's normal. The thigh gap has less to do with fat and more to do with how your femurs are attached to your pelvis/hip bones. Someone who has wide-set legs has a natural gap even if she has thicker thighs; someone whose hip joints are placed lower and more centrally may not have a gap even if she's really thin. The same relationship follows all the way down the legs, and knees often touch even if your legs are thin.

Question, though: Why do you look at that shit anyway? What good is body-hate doing for you?

    • I dunno. It's not really body hate, it's thinspiration, which is motivation to turn the body I hate into something I won't hate.
