Is it normal that when i stand up my eyes go black?

By black I don't mean they look black, I mean the feeling you get before you pass out I guess. This has been going on for about a year or so. There have been 2 of times where Ive fallen over from this. Usually I can just hold onto a wall or I won't need support.I'm an 18 year old female. Ive lost a lot of weight this year (from diet and exercise) which is the only thing I could think might have caused this, but I had this before I started losing it..so I don't think that's it.

It just means that you stood up too fast. Make sure you're hydrated!!

Yes, it's normal. It happens to me all the time. ESPECIALLY after I drink orphan tears, then my eyes turn green.

maybe you are dehydrated, drink more water. Oh, and to keep it from happening wiggle your toes before you get up-it gets the blood flowing, you have postural hypotension

This always happened to me when I was pregnant. I would see "stars" have to sit down immediately or I would probably have passed out. The doctor said it had something to do with blood flow.

This can be caused by a low blood pressure, the actual problem is a lack of oxygen to the brain because of the increase in pressure needed to get the blood up to the head after sitting or laying down. Low blood pressure can be caused from having a lot of caffiene.

    That's not normal.
I already went to the doctor because of this, but he told me, I'm just too lazy.
Whenever I stand up, everything sometimes goes black, I feel exhausted and have problems breathing.
