I thought, "We've spent so much money and had so many Americans die trying to stop that piece of shit. Why would they choose this, of all topics, as a fake news story that they shouldn't do anyway?"

(It was a month after April Fools Day, which some people in my life are big on, and I was still wary about pranks)
