Is it normal that when i read it all comes out jumbled.

For as long as I can remember I've found that I seem to have an issue reading something and verbalizing it at the same time. For instance if I read a book aloud I tend jumble and or skip words. However when I read in my head it all comes out fine. I think that's the problem really; I usually read inside my own head, so when I try to articulate what I'm reading it comes out... messy.

It always worries me because I end up thinking that I'll have to read something one day and it'll come out terrible.

Am I the only one that has this problem?

It sounds like you have dyslexia.

Use your finger under the words to keep your eyes focussed on the word you're reading - as you practise alone. When you succeed with that, keep your thumb at the end of the line you are reading.

    Read slowly.

yeah i have the same issue, but i am also dyslexic. my mom always told me that reading out loud is a completely different skill set then reading in your head, and she would make me practice it.

I'm ADD and I have the same issue. I like reading aloud but I have a hard time too.

Yer that happens to me. But I'm dyslexic so I don't know if it's a problem everybody has or just us dyslexic peoples.
