Is it normal that when i get hotter i start to itch like crazy?

Okay, maybe the title is misleading.
By getting hot I mean the heat level of my body. For example:
wearing a black T-shirt in a room which is warm, or driving the car while the windows are closed and the sun shines too strong, going ice-skating, running, excercising, in awkward and tough situations. (not always, but with 80% probability).

The itch is different too. It's not the regular itching you all experienced. It comes in dots, the most are on my head, especially my face, neck and nape, but I feel weaker dots at my shoulders, back and groin too. The itch is like getting stung by a huge peg, but it isn't painful - just simply super STRONG itch, which you can't resist the urge to scratch, or else you'll feel like you die. If I touch or scratch one, another one comes up. It can't be seen, however, when I'm done scratching, my skin is red. It used to last between 5-8 minutes. It is like an attack.
I'm 18, and going on my prom this december. I don't think that the room will be at a tolerable temperature and my clothes won't make me feel like a fried chicken. I don't really want to mess up the dancing ceremony with me stopping and scratching like an idiot in front of hundreds of people. So I have to find a solution or avoidance for this issue. Any ideas? Did it happened to you guys?

Thank you for your answers! I'm not sure about these diseases you told. I don't have any visible bumps at the area of the itch, neither before the "attack", nor after it.
However... until the age of 10 or 11, I was allergic to lactose/lactose sugar. And at this age, the symptoms suddenly vanished. When I drank milk before, I had either diarrhea, or hives or even both. But since 4th grade (~2004), these don't come up anymore.
I experienced this itchy thing first in 2008.
    Can they be related?

BTW I think that the redness is simply caused by my fingers, this is a natural reflex which everyone has.

I'm just guessing but it could probably be an urticaria or a dermatitis. In both case a salt bath and "refatting" your skin with natural products (natural in this case means no conservations, no E... and so on) could improve the quality of your skin and reduce your problems. But that ist not a right-here-right-now suggestion.
In short terms there is no way to get around a dermatologist, the sooner the better. The only other way is consulting a Zen-Master to teach you unendless patience.
    Have a nice prom anyway.

Heat rash. I get it too.

Wear cotton clothes, stay away from nylon or anything synthetic. You can get cortisone cream if it's really bad, but any aloe-vera cream will help with the itching and redness. Stay hydrated too.

It also could be related to sweat. If your skin is a tad sensitive, change your washing detergent, shampoo and body wash. When you sweat, your pores become open, allowing residue from shampoo and body wash to get it, and your clothes are rubbing up against you.
If the residue irritates you, it can be awful (I have extremely sensitive skin). Goats milk soap is really good for dry, irritated skin too.
