Is it normal that when i brush my bangs they flip upwards?

i brush my hair alot because it gets messed up easily and like the 2nd or 3rd time i do it the bangs and the sides start to flip upward, i use a wide tooth comb and after that it wont go down. what can i do besides adding heat to it?

Probably static in most case. use a none static comb.

other than heat you can't fix that (style it with a straightner, or tong in the right direction), just wet it down and let it dry back to its alpha keratin stage(how it dries naturally), and don't brush it as it dries.
