(we`re 18) My boyfriend an I have been dating for 13 months now, and we feel like we`re love. neither of us have had our first kiss yet, and i feel like we`ve waited too long. The deal is, its been built up so much, just waiting for that first kiss, that now we basically have to wait for the perfect moment.i mean, its a kiss you remember FOREVER, right ? its important ! and even if that moment did come, im nervous ! I have a feeling that itll get messed up. i mean, will it just be a peck on the lips ? or a full out makeout session ! what if i go for one and he goes for the other ? what if it somehow gets messed up ?

also, we have alot of mutual friends that were constantly around. they know we havent kissed, and if we ever did it in public, it would be a disaster ! "AH ! OMG THEYRE KISSING !" *snapshot* just awful.

its rare when we have alone time. and.. his lips are kind of... small.. i have no faith in his kissing ability. i on the other hand, have luscious lips. ;)

but i am in really inlove with this boy, and we both want to kiss, but i dont think we ever will. as i have a tendancy to chicken out at the last minute also.

is this normal ? will we ever kiss ? we have really good communication skills, and weve talked about it, should we just do a planned kiss to crack the egg?

    LOL. yeah. we finally kissed on his birthay, :) february 5th. <3 looove it. we makeout all the time now. XD haha

    Have some alone time first off, get away from your immature friends for a little while! then just go for it. If you love the guy, then it will be good. The moment doesn't have to be perfect, but the kiss will be awesome regardless. aand you won't want to stop;) oh! And don't plan it out.. That might kill all the excitement.. have fun!

    I was in the exact same boat. Pros to waiting so long: you get so excited once its actually accomplished, you probably kept it out of a public situation. Cons to waiting. You feel dumb afterwords for not doing it sooner, as long as youre with the other kisser, you feel like its perfect anyways. Its no huge deal! If you mess up, its not a kiss. Kissing is human instict. Though you may not know how to kiss, your mind does. People rag on you constantly to "just kiss already" (but they dont understand.. :P) you have nothing to worry about. As long as youre both understanding of eachother, just let go and kiss. You have no reason to be nervous. And anyways, a kiss wont ruin the rest of your life. And to the contrary of what you said, photographic evidence of your first kisses would be pretty dang cool to me :) good luck, and I wish you two the best.

    Its not abnormal. Not many people wait for the perfect person, place, and time although it is better that way. I think its sweet(: I had my first kiss at 12 and i regret it. I wish i would have waited for that perfect guy (but whats done is done) And its rare that a first kiss is perfect, so what if you mess up? If its love neither of you will care. I think its adorable that you guys have waited this long<3 good luck

    i wouoldnt say that this normal after the amount of time u have been together. however its not necessarily bad. u just gotta go for it. it will be great no matter what. and since its both of your 1st ones then u wont really know if its good or bad as niether has any past experience. start slow like with a peck or prolonged peck and go from there. its really not hard and if all else fails google it haha. the internet can help. or ask friends for advice which i think is best. wait till u get some alone time and surprise him or lean in and im sure he will follow. just make sure u dont stress over it lol

    Thats cuuuute!!! I think you will remember a lot this time without kiss than the kiss...and its good ...interesting relationship :-) it's not important how the kiss will be,you will always know how much you wait for it :-) you will laugh later in a sweet way
