Is it normal that we pee in bottles?

My wife and I live with 3 other people in a two bathroom house. We enjoy watching movies, playing video games and joking around until early in the morning. However, at about 3 AM, other people start to get ready for work. This means they are taking showers, etc. As my wife and I are unemployed, we don't have to be on any particular schedule; however, I happen to drink a lot of soda, and she drinks a lot of water, so at this time (3-5AM) we usually get the urge to pee. But since all the bathrooms are occupied, we resort to peeing in a 2 liter soda bottle. We empty it out as soon as possible and I wash it out every time we use it, but would you consider this normal?

    well its not as normal as holding till there done but its better then squatting in the back yard. maybe you can turn it into a game. get 2 2 liters take a sharpie and mark both at certain spot and see who can get to the line first. =p lol hope that makes you feel better. cheers.

    My bf carries a pee bottle in his car and has been known to use other empty disposable bottles for this purpose. I'm cool with it, but I'd need a funnel to do it and I'm sure I could out-pee him!

    Lol do not worry about it. I have a urinal from the hospital that I keep in my room just in case someone is in the bathroom. My brother and I seem to have the same bathroom schedule no matter what we do. My girlfriend on the other hand doesn't get in the way much.
