Is it normal that violent imagery and concept get me off?

I've notice that sex is rather dead. Even in all the previous relationships. It seems I get more aroused by visions of flames and explosions and chaos than sex itself. Don't get me wrong, I see women and want to ravage some of them, but it's only a primal need. I envision myself dying in a hail of gunfire and it's just as gratifying. Is that normal?
