Is it normal that tv shows getting wierd?

Well i have been watching TV Shows Off And On for Many years.it seemed when i was younger the good TV Show ran for 8 to 10 months then took a Season break for a few months but now the TV Shows play for a few months and take a 8 to 10 month Season break Also Why Do All the Good shows only last a few years then End with very little or No Ending TO Explain what the whole show was about? (example: Stargate Universe)but the dumb or wierd TV shows last forever and ever it really makes me mad as hell how they do it now am i Normal for getting so upset?

    I had expected a rant about reality TV but no, you should not be upset about being upset.

    There's no point paying for television though. That's like paying to be force fed McDonald's day in and day out because it's the only food in town.

    I miss shows like Kung Fu and Columbo. And why did they get rid of the mini-series?

    News is no longer Journalism.

    Shows are no longer stories. Just dribble with no moral. Save for Dexter (ironically enough).

    Apparently there was a cross over from shock radio to television at some point there in the late 90's and it's been on a steady decline ever since.

    Suggestion - Buy a hammer.

    The shitty ones are the ones that people want to watch. Quality isn't important any more. All the networks care about nowadays are a bigger audience and bigger check for themselves money.
