I am a 52 year old single man. I look at barely legal porn exclusively. Is it normal that barely legal porn is the only kind of porn I look at?
Go for it man. Personally the whole 18 thing means nothing to me. Way o say it is of its consensual it's none of my business. Thankfully I like my partner to be older not younger and I'm above the age law so I have nothing to worry about but still the whole age law bugs me. If it's 2 consenting people it shouldn't matter the ages.
Right! To be honest I always wanted my teachers and scout leaders to molest me growing up. I don't know why I did but I always wanted it to happen. Stupid age laws it should be down to consent and personal choice not age. Annoys me so much.

You can't expect a 12 year old to be consenting when he/she has been cohersed into a sexual act. Children that young are easily persuaded and manipulated.
The average 12 year old now days knows what's up with that stuff now days. They can consent. I knew all about that stuff since I was 8 or 9, (the memories all kinda flows together but yea 8 or 9) i know that for fact cause that's when my cousin gave me some porn mags and educated me. Abd that was some time ago, now days kids have way better and easier resources then I did. Kids are learning younger and younger. Abd with education and understanding comes the ability to consent

Right. If a guy over 18 is caught with a girl under 18, isn't that an automatic 3 years in the penitentiary? It's then rather serious to make extra sure that a girl is officially 18. Some girls get pretty developed and grown up looking by like 16, and other girls can still look very petite and young at 19 and can look younger than the 16 year old. Nobody should ever have sex with anyone without knowing their age, unless the woman obviously looks older.
I think it depends on 1. The state where the statutory rape occurred, and 2. The age difference between them. For example, many state have much less sever punishment if the age difference is only like 2 years. So if a 19 yo is caught with a 17 yo, it might only be a misdemeanor in some states. I do agree that there are a lot of 16 yo girls that look much older, sometimes 18 or 19 or even older. One thing to watch out for now is singles ads where the girl says she's 19 but then if a guy establishes contact she will admit to being under 18 and her or her "father" will try to blackmail the man.
I'd be very careful with that, you never no when she/he might actually be underage
