You know how women want to be treated equal right? Well why in sports, school activities, work, ect.. That they don't have to do as much as men but still demand the same reward? And don't give me the crap saying "their just girls, they can't do it" well, u know what? They can. If they are raised as a boy, they'd be able to do it. But in today's modern society, women are pampered and givin respect. But when it comes down to them working, they play the "I can't/don't/won't know how to do it" card. Yet they still want equal right. If u want equal rights, do equal work. Now, don't get me wrong, not all women are like this, just most that I've seen or heard of.

    women will never be treated "equal". in the workforce they get paid 20% or more, less than what males would if they were in the same job and that has nothing to do with physical strength or how they were brought up.
    but women and men are different in so many ways that it kinda makes it really hard to treat them "equally".
    but in my opinion, being able to give birth is such an amazing thing to be able to do, it kinda makes women better than men. so each sex is better than the other in different ways.

    Men and women are different. Because they are different, there's no such thing as a true equality. What we strive for instead is what both sides consider fair.

    We could be entirely anal about it and seek redress for the times men are discriminated against (men receive no acceptance at being less able to do the things that women are naturally better at). We could be anal about it and come up with a huge document of checks and measures, but really, who wants to live like that?

    If we use our common sense and respect both our own gender and the other gender, that's 90% of the problem solved.

    Im sorry but im with this dude i mean im all for equality if females actualy decide to do the equal work instead of the equal rewards
    if a guy hits a girl the girl is anoying you so much and you hit her she will say "you hit me im a girl" all you should reply to is yeah you are but girls want equality and i hit you the equal way i would a man.

    see the sad thing is woman think they can take the good eqaulities and not the bad ones even though its the bad equalities that men go through that make men the better gender

    and when ever i say "men have invented more needs when girls have really only invented new wants"
    females always reply "yeah but we didnt have our rights back in the day"
    well girls sorry but you aint "back in the day" as i recall black people got their rights "AFTER" you females did and oh look at that the president is a black man

    girls you have a chance to be equal as men why not start now instead of just trying to skip the part were you actualy have to prove yourself equal

    p.s no i am not saying woman are dumb and i am not saying every man is smarter than any woman
    individualy woman can do the same as an individual man but as a gender males are superior

    I do hate that, but I also hate when a guy tries to tell me I can't do something because I'm a woman. Some men have been shocked to see that I'm able to use a powertool, identify the difference between a flathead and a phillips, and oh, that I can play video games.

    So I guess it's on both genders.

    I don't think the amount of physical work you are able to withstand should determine the amount of respect or rights a person deserves. In saying that males still do have it abit better, even in the twenty first century. Could you give us an example maybe of how some of the girls you know demand respect but don't earn it?

      Silly kids, men eat more food and have bigger muscles- if they can't do more than a woman then they are weak. Women must produce more with less to be considered equal. Men are also given more to nurture these qualities as it isn't as acceptable for a woman to be the "athlete"

      As a woman, it isn't about equality for me, it's about being treated fairly. Woman are expected to work the same hours but then go home and cook dinner and raise the kids! This isn't fair. Now if men went hunting after work and brought home the meat that was to be eaten, it would be a different story. However woman are expected to keep the fridge stocked as well.

      And woman obviously handle pain much better than men. Did you forget about childbirth? The closest a man comes is passing a kidney stone and most cry to their mommy when this afflicts them.
