Is it normal that this offended me?

Not too long ago I came across an image on the internet. The image depicted a brown woman wearing a red niqab pulled over her shoulder and she's wearing hardly anything underneath. She's wearing matching red panties and ribbons over a rack so photoshopped that her torso didn't make sense. And this image offended me. I felt like it objectified someone that was not meant to be objectified. Or that it made a mockery of the niqab.

But I don't really understand why it offends me. I'm not brown or Muslim. I'm not offended by nun fetishes and I can even turn a blind eye to furries. I don't care too much when Katy Perry runs around with my childhood on her tits. I thought I was pretty chill when it came to sexified images but for some reason this "sexy niqab lady" image offended me.

Well history has a lot of "Kill the enemy fuck their women" scenarios that we thought we grew out of. And it's pretty obvious the western world is against Islam. I assume the western media made the sexy niqab lady.

So I'm guessing it's just some white guilt. Like it wasn't bad enough that people want Arabs dead now they also lust over Arab women. You're not offended by the nun fetish because it's from the western world for the western world.
