Is it normal that this makes me pretty uncomfortable?

I have a scar on my elbow that is pretty large and totally numb.

When I touch the skin there I get physically uncomfortable. I feel quite anxious I guess? It makes me cringe. When I touch it to soft surfaces it does not really bother me though.

Is it normal?

    Yeah I get a similar sensation when I touch my nipples but also not when they're just on a surface like wearing a shirt

    Numbness is uncomfortable, I couldn't bare being paralyzed.
