Is it normal that this is one of the main reasons i like girls?

I am a bisexual girl. Today I was wondering if there was a specific reason why I liked either gender, or what my favourite thing about dating the general sex was.
I couldn't really pin-point one for boys, but for girls it was definitely their soft skin. I would never not date someone because they were blonde or something. But I know I would never date a girl that didn't have soft (not dry) skin.
So, other girls that like girl, is it normal to like girls for their soft skin? And I guess boys that like girls can answer too, if they want.
