Is it normal that this is happening with this girl i like?

Well lets get this story started:

So I work at a flea market with my family and met this Really cute girl. I bought her a Flower for valentines day, but she left before I could give it to her myself so I asked her Step-Grandmother to give it to her for me... She came back the next week and said thanks then ran off all shy-like. At this point I was like "Oh yay I think she likes me :DDD".

The next month I tried to talk to her but she was kinda inward (Like so shy she could hardly look at me) And me, Im now the most outward person. I mean Im SUPER shy, like to the point where I can hardly say hello without falling out of a chair/tripping or something stupid.

Anyways

I gave her my number but she NEVER called. At this point I was totally bummed. I felt as if It were all over. The first week after i gave it to her I stayed up night after night just awaiting the call/text, but got nothing.

So now, just yesterday (Saturday the 6th)My boss went up to her parents and asked them for her phone number. He called her and offered her a job (He's trying to help give me a little nudge or whatever) and he hands me the phone and Im like... "Uhhh Hi...." she replies with Hi and I quickly give him back the phone feeling like I just emergency landed an airplane or whatever. About an hour later, he (my boss) gives me her number and says "Text her, Cmon! You only live once!" So I did. I texted her 2 long messages and she replied with very short replies. After the little "Convo" Was over I texted: "Well alrighty its cool, Unless you'd still like to talk about anything or whatever if all goes well I guess Ill see you next week or tomorrow or something xD"

She replied with ok. And I haven't heard from her since.

(Also I forgot to mention, she likes batman, So I bought her a really cool batman picture lol)

Any advice/Help would be Greatly appreciated..... So.. Thankies :D
