Is it normal that this had to happen?

I was walking in the park and I bump into a toddler by accident and the mother tries to get into a fight by trying to fight me and a couple of guys had to break up the fight luckily for me I didn't get hurt but I honestly blame the mother for being irresponsible for her son to wonder and not watching where he was going and what made the matter worse was she tried to blame me for the reason why the little fucker went crying.

She needs to watch out for her kid. Thats her responsibility not yours.

      This.

Irresponsible parents are the worst. Any time their irresponsibility and failure to supervise their own children results in consequences, they always try to find a way to blame it on someone else. 🙄

Assaulting strange children isn't really normal but I get its tough to resist the urge sometimes

What if the OP was the assaulted one?

There really aren't enough options for grown adults who are assaulted by very young children. It's a situation where you literally can't defend yourself.

Well, word here didn't even go about defending themselves, just being assaulted, if OP. was ran into.

OP almost got assaulted! Hopefully next time the kid's trashy mother tries to start a physical fight she'll get a face full of pepper spray.

The kid wasn't assaulted, but OP was assaulted by the kids piece of trash mother. I'm very glad OP wasn't hurt!

I get that you're being funny, but OP was the only one in danger of being assaulted.

I had a similar occasion in my early twenties though I was luckier. I deliberately buttock-barged the little bastard getting in my way. It was not a toddler, rather 5-6 year old. Both his parents were present but none of them scrappy to pull a fight. The kid was crying loud for attention but the mother just lazily noted 'Did the big boy (we use a word literally meaning older brother for older boys and young males, just like middle aged men and women are called uncles and aunties). I admired her wise reaction, teaching her kid a lesson rather than address demands to the whole world to go in her way.

Why even stop and listen to her? Fuck what strangers think, they’re just noisey meat sacks until I know them and they become personalised.

If I was doing no wrong I’d just shrug at her and keep on with my day.

This post makes me want to start carrying my pepper spray, and taser again. Seriously, if someone bitch puts her hands on me I think the best course of action is a stun gun to her neck.

I dunno, it just felt good saying that.

Haha well stun gunning the mother might be a tad excessive Rose but I understand the thought.

If she tries to assault me it would be an appropriate response.

It's normal to try to physically fight someone like you're on the Jerry Springer show in front of your toddler-age child? Lol

To be honest, toddlers tend to run out in front of other people at the last minute all the time, so it could be something as simple as that.

No, the mother sounds like trash! Only trashy people immediately want to start a fight for an innocent mistake. She should be watching her little rugrat instead of looking to attack innocent strangers.
