Is it normal that this girl's eyes are always red in pictures

My daughter has a friend (age 12) who's eyes are always red in all pictures, from all angles, from any camera. even the professional cameras that use a flash that prevents red-eye. she has brown eyes. the only picture her eyes aren't red in are the school pictures, but i don't know if they use the red-eye correction on the picture after it's taken.

    yes. it happens all the time, and it's mostly people with blue or light colored eyes.

    Like really red? Because I've noticed that in a lot of my pictures my eyes are the same color as my hair, which is red. It only does this in photographs.

    It is, it usually happens with point-and-shoot cameras, because the flash is too close to the lens, or because the person's eyes are too light in color, so they pretty much reflect a red-ish tone, typical of the back part of the eye. It's sort of why your sight turns red when you point a light at your eyes while they're shut.

    I think I read something once about people with red eye have better vision. Google it.

      thankyou for the only intelligent answer. I'm looking for a physiological answer, I don't think she is a demon or a terminator. for example, a white spot in the eye (in pictures) can signify a retinal tumor. please people, intelligent answers

    Umm.. Well... No it's not normal, so, if I was you, I'd tell your daughter to stay away from the girl :D I'm too paranoid :D
