  • That was so nasty I literally shivered.
Anyhow... there was this pick-up line used back in the day and it goes a little like this:

'You're so fine I drink your bath water.' < Gross but funny.

People get in swimming pools that other people have been in. In fact, that other people are still in.

It's funny how people are disgusted just by what they think other people will think.

But a pool has chemicals to keep the water clean, and there isnt as much water in a bath tub, so theres more germs..

    Ugh...
But are they really poor or something? Because enough water to fill baths for five people can cost quite a lot over a year

Do all of them get in the tub at once or do they leave the water from the previous bath in the tub and let the next person get in? If it's a custom than that's normal, but if not, than it's just nasty and creepy.

I know that my dad did this as a kid with his cousins when visiting their grandmother, it wasn't just "2-3" generations ago, it was also 1 and it's still common today.

    What only 12% normal?

Let me tell you something, what concerns me is how many people are disgusted by the thought of communal bathing water. I am from a country where I grew up bathing with my relatives when at the countryside. This is an option that we will all resort to ultimately when we can see clearly outside of our pampered lives and society.

No joke, but this is how I used to calculate using one bucket of water:

    1.wash face
    2.then wash body
3.then take the water and wash small clothes
3.then take the water and wash your dishes
4.then take the water and wash your floor
    5. and at last take the water and water the bush outside

I believe that back a couple, maybe 2-3 generations when, most families had at least 5 kids or so, and in hard economical times, this was common place. it does sound kind of gross for today's standatds but it's not really as bad as it sounds.

" I still love to wash in your old bathwater
Make me feel like I couldn't love another
I can't help it...you're my kind of man"

  • That's kinda nasty. I guess they really don't want to waste precious water.
